Labyrinths in Wonderland

Do you want to see as I see?

Spark, LabyrintheCat, and gypsy sky pirate.
the taste of pleasure is often laced with pain; better to drink deep of both than to abstain.
when Love cast me out, it was Cruelty who took pity on me.
that which yields is not always weak.
I am the Cat who walks by himself, and all places are alike to Me... but some are more alike than others.

Three things from which never to be moved: one's Oaths, one's Gods, and the Truth.
The three highest causes of the true human are: Truth, Honor, and Duty.
Three candles that illuminate every darkness: Truth, Nature, and Knowledge.
— Traditional Celtic Triads

Celtic Commandments
Give thou thine heart to the wild magic,
To the Lord and the Lady of Nature,
Beyond any consideration of this world.
Do not covet large or small,
Do not despise weakling or poor,
Semblance of evil allow not near thee,
Never give nor earn thou shame.
The Ancient Harmonies are given thee,
Understand them early and prove,
Be one with the power of the elements,
Put behind thee dishonour and lies.
Be loyal to the Lord of the Wild Wood,
Be true to the Lady of the Stars,
Be true to thine own self besides,
True to the magic of Nature above all else.
Do not thou curse anyone,
Lest thou threefold cursed shouldst be,
And shouldst thou travel ocean and earth,
Follow the very step of the ancient trackways.
~From the Carmina Gadelica, ancient Celtic oral tradition

I will walk this ground forever
and stand guard against your name.
I will give all I can offer,
I will shoulder all the blame.
I am sentry to you now,
all your hopes and all your dreams.
I will hold you to the light,
that's what forever means.

Farewell, you who now walk the Paths of Light, the Paths of those who seek after truth and joy.
May the sun ever shine upon thy back.
May the moon ever light thy footsteps in darkest Night.
May the Great Cat ever hunt beside you as you travel where none upon this plane may follow.
Farewell, shining one, you whom we loved.
We will see you again one day in the Bright Lands, where all is golden and always light.

Welcome, from the Celtic Gypsy Mad Mechanic Sky Pirate Extraordinare, of the good airship Damocles! Or was that the Queen's Diadem? I think we changed it last time... well, never you mind. You're here on curiosity, I imagine. For a first note, remember that I agree with Professor Moriarty - Dark magic is the very best kind.

For the rest...
I'm an amateur artist and writer with professional aspirations. What kind of art? I draw, I paint, I make 3D worlds in Mojoworld and I'm playing with other 3D programs. I make jewelry, and I'm branching out into the world of leatherworking. I write fantasy & sci-fi stories, and the occasional poetry. I go out dancing at goth clubs with my friends. I am a Celt (yes, one of those damn pipe-playing blue-painted kilted barbarians) by bloodline. I'm into steampunk, cyberpunk (as a literary genre), the Celtic faery faith and Celtic mysticism. Anything truly innovative, independant, and creative will surely catch my eye. Born a poor lil Virginia mountain girl, I grew up to be the mother of a wonderful little girl and wife of the most incredible man in the world. I'm going to school at Everglades University for a Bachelor of Science in Alternative Medicine. I have far too many interests, so I plan to live to be at least a hundred and twenty in order to pursue them all. If it takes longer, well, we'll just have to blow up that ship when she crosses our bows.

Places to go, Things to see: Stonehenge, the New Grange Chapel, Ben Nevis, Brehon's Chair, Stirling Castle, Leap Castle, Loch Ness (and various other sacred sites around the british isles), Abu Simbel, the Great Wall of China, the northern lights, glaciers calving, Angkor Wat, Easter Island, the Inca city at Machu Picchu, the Forbidden City, the temple at Karnak, the Parthenon/Acropolis, Chichen Itza, Carlsbad Caverns, Mammoth Caverns, Temple of the Emerald Buddha, Lijiang & Shangri-La, Neuschwanstein Castle, Big Horn Medicine Wheel...

I walk my own path, and if you want to come along, best step lively or you might get left behind.

Also, I make my own icons so please do NOT use any of my userpics without asking. they are MY ART and as such are copyright to me even if the original material is not.
